Eventually got it to work after about six hours of frustration. This interface was the simpelist, cost effective way to get 32 midi channels into my projects. I bought a fancy new cell phone and was hoping to delve into some geeking out getting it to be used as a way to midomate music.

For a while had been trying max failing to get another cord to work, making me worry I had some compatibility issue. The specifics of getting it to work with each app though are different depending on the what the developer has done to support midi in android. This means the interface can deliver channels of either input or channels of output if required.

The Midimate solved that and plugs into my USB on the confuser and no probs with Win7 recognizing it.

Plugged it in jidimate works just like that, with my OTG cable. It works exactly as advertised, and no additional power is needed like a powered USB hub. Very simple and EASY to use.

Piano has an older serial connector but things seemed like I should use the midi ports for best connection.

Love that it doesn't require any software, I plugged it in and it works. Update Unrecognized Zip Code.
